Properties:

Technical product is white solid, m.p.82-89, v.p.1.710-6mmHg. It is easily soluble in water and polar solvents, but is decomposed by alkali. Its E.C. is yellow and transparent liquid, which may separate out crystals in cold and will recover homogeneous when warmed to 30.

Uses:

Acephate is an organophosphorous insecticide and acaricide with mainly contact poisoning action and certain systemic, stomache effect. It is high effective, low toxic and less residual effect, used to control insects on rice, wheat, cotton, vegetables, beans, fruits, sugarcane, tobacco, such as rice thrips, planthoppers, army worm, cabbageworm, red spiders pear and peach borers, teaphid, etc.

Toxicity:

97% Tech. The acute oral LD50 for big white mouse over 562mg/kg, The acute dermal LD50>2000mg/kg. It is litter toxicity to fish.
