Properties:

Pendimethalin is an orange-yellow crystalline solid; melting point, 54~58°C; vapour pressure, 40Pa(25°C). Solubility in water, <0.5mg/l, readily soluble in chlorinated hydrocarbons and aromatic hydrocarbons. Stable to acids and alkalis. Active ingredient in technical, 95%.

Uses:

Cotton, dry bulb onions and shallots, edible beans, field corn, forage legumes, garlic, grain sorghum, nonbearing fruit, nut crops, vineyards; peanuts, potatoes, rice, soybeans, sugarcane, sunflowers, sweet corn, sweet lupines, small grain cereals, tobacco. Pendulum*: established turf, ornamentals, industrial sites, ground maintenance. Squadron*: soybeans only in specified

Toxicity:

Acute oral LD50 technical for rats, 1250mg/kg. Acute dermal LD50 for mice, 1620mg/kg.
