Uses:

Tebufenozide, which acts specifically on Lepidoptera as an ecdysone agonist, is efficient against late instar larvae of five commodity pests: the webbing clothes moth Tineola bisselliella, the case-bearing clothes moth Tinea dubiella; the white-shouldered house moth Endrosis sarcitrella; the brown house moth Hofmannophila pseudospretella and the Australian carpet beetle Anthrenocerus australis.

Toxicity:

The oral LD50 in mice and rats was >5000 mg/kg bw; the dermal LD50 in rats was >5000 mg/kg bw, and the inhalation LC50 in rats was > 4.3 mg/litre.
